Need more info: Much of this depends on the injury you sustained and where the pins where placed. Pins are anchored within the bone, but multiple structures exists in the area where pins are commonly placed. Xrays and a physical exam are likely necessary. The cause of your pain can best be assessed by an orthopaedic surgeon, preferably one who deals with upper extremity injuries.
