I : I suggest you go to your primary care provider for evaluation. You may be suffering from a pinched nerve, carpal tunnel or even arthritis. Your doctor will examine you, possibly do blood tests and order appropriate studies. Depending on the diagnosis you may benefit from a short course of steroids and physical therapy. Good luck to you.

Possi injured nerve: I am assuming that your neck was" turned around backwards". If this is so then nerves in the neck seem inflamed. Turning the neck could have injured facet joints in neck and their inflammation is affecting the exiting nerve roots which are nearby. It is likely to take quite some time to heal.
