My foot often gets a paralyzing charley-horse if i am kneeling with my foot straight out from my ankle. it will last up to an hour. very painful! why?

A pinched nerve: The nerve that travels to your foot may be pinched in the position that you are describing. That nerve can control sensation and muscle movement. Therefore, you get a painful sensation and the muscles have spasms which create difficulty moving. You want to find out if structurally something is off; consider having a podiatrist check you.
