Stretch: There are many causes of low back pain and hip pain. Often they are related. Usually acute back or hip pain will improve over 1-2 weeks with anti-inflammatories, gentle streching, and use of heat/ice. If your pain does not improve or gets worse you should contact your physician.

Back pain: The back pain can be caused by muscle strain, spinal stenosis, ruptured disc, nerve impingement ... One sided back pain might also be caused by kidney issues. Without additional information, it's hard to identify the cause of your pain. Please seek help from a pcp, pain management physician, neurologist or physiatrist, you might benefit from a comprehensive evaluation and treatment.
