Many possibilities: Nerve compression is a possibility. There may be an entrapment or injury to the sural nerve. Have it evaluated by a professional to determine the diagnosis and to get the appropriate treatment.

Nerve issue: When you way "right side of foot" do you mean the outer part of ankle and foot around the heel area? You may have a nerve entrapment of the sural nerve at mid-calf or at the lower end of calf muscle, or simply squeezing the nerve through the muscle and soft tissue can cause pain to radiate down to the foot.
