Can poison ivy cause blindness? if poison ivy comes into contact with the eyes, could it cause blindness?

Highly unlikely.: Doubtful that poison ivy would cause permanent blindness. Maybe very temporary if your eyes were directly involved. Poison ivy may cause severe reactions with swelling and itching. Most often these are time limited reactions by your immune system. Your symptoms should improve with time.

No: Although the rash and swelling that occurs with exposure to the eyes and lids can be pretty miserable until it clears.
