Mostly: Yes, if vitamin d deficiency and malabsorption of vitamins, with supplementation with vitamins.Sometimes bowel disease can be aggressively treated if present.Exposure to sunlight increases vit. D metabolism. Inherited renal diseases have to be treated differently by kidney specialists controlling calcium, phosophorus and vitamins. Parathyroid abnormalites may require surgery to correct hormones.
