How does a humidifier affect your lung health?

Yes, In a Dry enviro: A humidifier can be helpful if the surroundings are very dry, such as in winter with "forced hot air" warming. Our nose, nasal passages, trachea all act to humidify our inspired air. If the air is too dry, these structures, too, can become dry. Keep in mind that humidifiers, if not kept lean, can also impart bacteria to the air, so some caution is necessary. Refer to package directions.

Easier to breathe: Moist air can be easier to breathe than dry air, which can be irritating ... But need to make sure the humidifier is cleaned regularly, to avoid blowing infected water into the air.
