Spinal nerve pain: The nerves to your arms and legs connect to the spinal cord. When one is irritated (for example by a disk rupture), the person may experience pain, numbness, tingling and/or weakness in the part of the body connected to that particular nerve.

Radiculopathies: The term radiculopathy refers to a disease process that involves one or more of the spinal nerve roots. Typically there are 3 most common causes: a herniated disc, central spinal stenosis and lateral spinal stenosis. As a result of the initial insult or injury pain travels along the nerve root distribution in the body.
