MANY CAUSES: Enlarge spleen can be caused due to many causes, some common causes are infectious mononucleosis syphilis endocarditis hemolytic anemias cirrhosis and other liver diseases malaria leukemia, lymphoma and hodgkin disease risk associated with enlarged spleen are reduces number of red blodd cells in your blood and can cause low platlet count l, and in case of mononucleosis there is risk of ruptuture.
