A member asked:

Is it common to continue developing mrsa sores while being treated for it with antibiotics?

Possibly: If you are taking an antibiotic that is not effective against mrsa, the bacteria will continue causing what ever disease it was causing, i.E sores, abcesses, pneumonia etc..., until the right antibiotic is given.

Yes: Mrsa is difficult to treat and can reoccur very quickly. The antibiotic may not be specific to the bacteria.
