Doctor can evaluate: Sore throat after a rabies shot may not be from the shot, but could be from a viral infection, bacterial infection, allergies, etc... A primary care doctor can evaluate, and do a strep throat test to see if routine antibiotics are needed.

Rabies shots: It is not one of the listed side effects of the vaccine, but muscle aches are. Maybe a throat muscle ache? Ask your doctor.
