A member asked:

Is a sore throat, nausea, and feeling run down primary symptoms of rabies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rabies causes diffuse muscle pain and spasms, fever, delirium, hallucinations, difficulty swallowing, drooling, and is a critical almost irreversible disease in most patients, leading to coma and death. Your symptoms are nonspecific, and could be due to viral or strep throat causes, unless you were bitten by a rabid animal. Have your doctor check you.
