Depends: Hand swelling can be caused by several conditions including injuries, arthritis, circulatory problems, tendonitis and other inflammatory conditions. If your symptoms don't resolve spontaneously after a few days, be sure to see your primary care physician or hand surgeon for a complete evaluation.
