Mottled skin: You may have an ecchymosis - a spot of bleeding under the skin with diameter larger than 1 cm . It is similar to hematoma, commonly called a bruise. Most commonly, it coould be harmless caused by unnoticed trauma but may be harbinger of more serious diseases such as purpura, and hemophilia. If it doesn't resolve or you get more eruptions see your doctor.

Episodes of redness, burning sensation, numbness and vein swelling in my feet, ankles, and sometimes hands at night or when standing. The skin itself is not cracked or dry. Socks, shoes and hot shower makes worse. Elevating feet helps. Any ideas?
