If i need to have my adrenals removed, will it be similar to the laparoscopic removal of my gallbladder?

Yes: The recovery from the operation will be similar from the standpoint of postoperative pain. However, the technical aspects of this operation are very different--this is considered an "advanced" laparoscopic procedure. I advise you to seek out a surgeon with considerable experience in laparoscopic adrenal surgery.
