No: However, hormone imbalance, which can cause one to be stressed, or be caused by stress will lead us to eat 'comfort' foods which may promote candida. If the candida is causing more stress, that could aggravate the hormone imbalance.

Canida and hormones: Hormone imbalance is not caused by candida but the changes in the vagina that hormone imbalance can cause could increase problems with vaginal candida infection.
