Traing and scope: Massage therapist have a more limited traing and educaiton and are very limited in their scope to just relaxation and massage. A chiropractor has attended chiroparactic school and is limited in their scope of practice by their state board. They do manipulations, and other treatments but just massage is not what they are limited to.

Limited: Chiropractors offers a strenuous, sometimes dangerous, massage based on an outmoded theory which has no anatomical basis. Massage therapist are gentle, do not offer phoney theories, and generally provide good relief. Your family doctor can direct you if you are having musculoskeletal problems.
