Check for meds: Any anti inflammatory medications such as Aspirin or Motrin (not tylenol) can cause easily bruising. Vitamin e may also cause it as well. Also your physician may order a blood test to rule out any clotting disorder or abnormal bleeding disorder. If no known cause, then it is called senile purpura which is unfortunately no known treatment and it is aging related condition.
