A member asked:

Does thumping sound in ear indicate that i have high blood pressure?

Not necessarily: The rhythmic thumbing sound one hears in their ear, if it corresponds with the heart rate, is the ear drum hearing the heart beat from the tympanic artery. This does not necessarily indicate high blood pressure and should not be used as a measure of blood pressure. Better is a blood pressure cuff device, especially if done by your doctor's office.

Not necessarily: Check your BP with an arm cuff.
