A day?: If you are taking Methadone and are switching to suboxone, you just switch over (the doc prescribing it should be able to calculate an approximate dose). The goal is to not have you withdraw, so you switch over from Methadone one day to Suboxone the next. There may have to be some dose adjustments after that, but you just stop one and start the other at first.

Methadone & Suboxone: You need to stop Methadone for several days and be in full withdraw for Suboxone induction. Mixing Methadone and Suboxone would cause withdrawal. The dosage for Suboxone will be determined by your doctor during the induction. Please see a doctor asap and discuss your need.
