Vulvar burning & you: Make sure that your vulva(outside of the vagina) is not in contact with irritating chemicals like harsh soaps, unrinsed underwear, prolonged thong use, and cuts from shaving. Dove, caress and ivory soaps are non-irritating. If it continues, see a gyn md and be checked for a vulvo-vaginal infection.

Need exam: You should see your gyn to be evaluated for these symptoms. It is difficult to tell what is going on without an exam and, possibly, tests.
