2 approaches: For those who do have basilar migraine, not unique to have vertigo, and episodic loss of awareness, but not really epilepsy. Since seizures can co=exist, might suspect epilepsy if repetitive episodes of loss of consciousness.

Yes, yes: Not unknown for the basilar migraine variant to cause this, but there is higher incidence of seizures as a co-morbidity and need to wonder about both.
