Is cipro (ciprofloxacin) good for bad sore throat this sore throat started 2 days ago and now i have a bad cough and it burns when i cough?

Not sure: Cipro (ciprofloxacin) types of antibiotics are usually for infections of the lower respiratory tract, less for bacterial pharyngitis. If it doesn't give improvement within 48 hours of starting, it may not be effective for your infection.
