How can i stop my dependent from putting himself in dangerous situations?

Wandering in elderly: It would depend on the disease the person had. If it is dementia, then using door handle covers would help them from leaving the house. Giving the person a task and redirecting them also may help. Some medications will help if anxiety is associated with the dementia.

Dangerous situations: I am sorry you are worried for your loved one. I highly recommend that you have him or her establish with a counselor or therapist for support. You alone cannot take this on, and he or she is ultimately responsible for actions. Why does the person seek danger? That is a key question whose answer can be quite complicated.
