How could family caregiving benefit my husband?

Multiple Ways: The addition of family assistance in the care of any loved one can add benefits. Many dementia patients for example are more comfortable with people they are familiar with. Sometimes a family member can step in and give you a much needed break even if that is only for uninterrupted sleep or to shop or the like. The love and support of families cannot be underestimated.

Caregiving: Awesome input from Dr. Roosth. Family caregiving can not only provide your husband with the basic assistance he needs but it is being done by people he knows & who care for him. He may really benefit for the love that is shown. By sharing caregiving, it is less apt to lead to caregiver burnout by a solo caregiver. The respite care is usually very appreciated.
