How can i handle caregiving for a husband that has increasing demands?

Therapy?: As we age, more and more demands are placed upon us...And how we cope with those demands is crucial to both ourselves and our spouses. You need to have some time for you! if this doesn't help the overall situation then a sit-down with your husband is in order; but(if it comes to it) sometimes a couples therapist can make a good mediator and help you both be aware of each other's needs.

Caregiving: Are his demands reasonable? If they aren't then it is time to have a heart to heart talk & for him to manage issues that he has the ability to address. If his needs are very real and you are becoming exhausted, frustrated or angry - it may be time for respite. Accept help when it is offered. Ask for help when needed. Insure that you still have outlets that nurture you or that you enjoy.
