What should i look for in a support worker for the disabled?

Compassion and....: Compassion and competency. It depends what disability you are referring to: physical, mental or emotional? You want to make sure your worker is licensed and has good references, also that they have taken care of someone with this particular problem before. You could check with your local DSS for references and referral to local resources.

Caregiver: Please look for compassion & patience. Even if hiring through an agency, check out background and credentials. Make sure you give the person a trial, not just hire outright. Peace and good health.
