Bad, bad, bad.: Fast food typically contains preservatives, high salt, sugar, fat, cholesterol and large portions- all things that contribute to the rapid development of heart disease.

Salt and fat: Fast food is often high in salt and fat, which can cause high blood pressure and atherosclerosis, respectively, as well as obesity, all of which can cause heart disease. Foods high in sugar can cause obesity and diabetes, which can cause heart disease.
