A member asked:

What is the likelihood of stent infection after angiogram?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Extremely low: Although cases of stents getting infected have been reported in the literature, the liklihood of this happening is extremely, extremely low. In fact, it is so low that when it does occur it is considered a reportable event.
