No: If she had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) it had to resolve in a short period of time (that is how it is defined). If the symptoms did not resolve she had a stroke although it could certainly be small.

Prob not a TIA: TIAs or mini strokes do not cause permanent damage. Their symptoms last less than 24 hours. If you feel that there has been a loss of function or damage, the cause could not be TIA. A stroke may cause permanent damage. It can normally be verified by MRI of the brain, and sometimes by a CT scan.
