Nystagmus: Nystagmus may not be curable. There are medications and procedures that may help. Discuss with her neurologist or consider seeing an ophthalmologist.

Also: See if there a position that the nystagmus is at a minimum (null point). Maybe it's looking to the left, for instance. Having the head turned to the right so she can look straight ahead without much disruption of vision might be sufficient. Hopefully it lessens with time.
