Migraine?: This is a migraine phenomenom. Occasinnally symptoms like this can occur due to something like an abnormal tangle of blood vessels in the brain, i.e. An avm. I have never seen one in 19 years of practice. I would see a neurologist if you haven't already seen one.

Perhaps: While it could just related to your blood pressure, a terrible one sided headache is very worrisome and needs to be seen by neurologist.
