Yes: Factor v leiden is a genetic condition. If you have one copy of a fvl mutation, you are heterozygous with an increased risk of blood clotting. If you have 2 copies you are homozygous with an even higher risk of clotting. The inheritence pattern is simple mendelian genetics. You get one copy of the gene from your mother and one from your father.
