Pls. clarify: Do you mean factor v deficiency? Someone with this deficiency and had blood clots would likely be prescribed a blood thinner for lifetime. If there is a life-threatening blood clot, they may receive a tranfusion of plasma (blood liquid). Plasma does not last long in the body.
