A member asked:

Can infants have anxiety attack symptoms? if anxiety can be hereditary, is it possible for infants to have anxiety attack symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: Anxiety is a normal emotion felt in anticipation of the unknown. It is developed over time based on our life experiences. Infants have fear of objects and later, of strangers at about the 9-10th month and later about the 18th month. They may respond to feared objects with symptoms that resemble those seen in adults with anxiety.
