Can you explain how nasonex (mometasone) works for your post nasal drip?

Anti-inflammatory: Nasonex (mometasone) is a corticosteroid nasal spray that reduces inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses. Reducing the inflammation reduces the amount of mucous produced resulting in less post nasal drip (and less "runny nose.").
