Evaluation: Most first time patients meet with their pain doctor, discuss their symptoms, and together work out a treatment plan. If needed further tests and or treatment options are outlined. Treatment usually begins immediately, but pain is not something that can be turned off immediately. Sometimes it takes time to find the treatment plan ghat works for you.
