This dependent on : Several issues including need for medication post operatively that may sedate you & affect your judgement &/or reaction times. In addition, your ability to safely turn your neck while driving & the restrictions you may still have as well as the need for any post op bracing are factors. The type of fusion & number of levels involved play a role & arm/leg function. So this can be weeks to months.
