In a skinny patient: In a non obese individual with a long, thin neck without any prior surgery to the area and for a single level by a surgeon who does this routinely, about an hour to an hour and a half if not harvesting iliac bone graft . If harvesting bone graft, that adds on another 15 to 30 minutes if it is a tricottical graft or wedge piece. If it is just a coring by a needle, then only a few minutes.

Depends: Many factors can influence the length of surgery. A one level takes about an hour. A two level a little under two hours. Check out Spine-health.com.
