No: Seizure medications are all teratogenic to a certain degree, and most cross the placenta. In the perfect world we would avoid them, but in women with severe seizure disorders it is better to take them than have uncontrolled seizures. If the drug is being taken for mood disorder it may be necessary or one may be able to go off. Its an individual decision that needs to be made with one's doc.
