Couple suggestions: A safe area is a must at this age as baby moves about exploring the world. Vinyl covered books with heavy cardboard pages are a good way to stimulate an interest in reading. Bright toys and toys that make noises are favored. Imitative behavior like sweeping or playing with dishes are common at this age. Teaching body parts, demonstrating crayons and chasing games fit this developmental level.
