Depends.: Enlargement of inguinal or groin lymph nodes can often occur without an identifiable cause, but mostly due to lower body skin infections, stds & genital infections, or less frequently, cancer. If it is due to cancer, the speed of enlargement depends on the cancer type. Squamous cell carcinoma & melanoma tend to grow rapidly, resulting in bulky enlargement. Keep vigilant & work with your doctor.

Depends...: Most people have enlarged lymph nodes from time to time. It is quite common to feel lymph nodes in the groin and neck. In the vast majority of cases, this swelling is due to inflammation or infection. If it is related to cancer, (i.e. Spread from the primary to the lymph nodes), they can grow quickly or slowly depending on the pathologic type and grade of the cancer.
