No more than 2 hrs: Try not to let your baby sleep more than two hours straight during the daytime, even if they were up the previous night. Babies can flip their day/night pattern if you do. Try to get seven to eight feedings in during the day and you might get extra sleep at night.

16-20hrs: Nothing is written in stone but the usual sleep time is 16. To 20 hrs per day not all at once of course. Interesting also crying time is usually 1 to 2 hours per day. Again not all at once even though it might seem that way!
