Age is a factor: Being 43 is a factor - you have lower numbers of genetically normal eggs even if your testing looks good. In vitro fertilization (ivf) may be a better option than IUI treatment if you are a good candidate for this type of treatment. Some 43 year olds need to use an egg donor instead of trying with their own eggs. Talk to your doctor about options and success rates.
