Is a broken coccyx fatal?

Not at all!: The spinal cord does not go down that far, so all you are doing is breaking bone. It certainly can be uncomfortable as it heals, but it isn't going to kill you.

No: No. A broken coccyx or tailbone is painful but not fatal.

No: No typically not in and of itself. Now, if you had a severe injury like a fall from a building or a severe accident, you could sustain a coccyx fracture and other injuries that are life threatening, but the coccyx fracture itself is usually not life threatening.
