Conserv/surg: A rectal exam and x-ray will confirm the diagnosis. Conserv=doughnut cusion to sit, nsaids. Semi conserv as above and injection by a pain management center. Usually helps but does not last. Sug=excision. If done by someone with experience it is safe and easy and people usually r better by the time they reach recovery room. Main comp recta perf. I did 30-40 with care no comp. Choose ur surg well.
