No: Ms is at this point considered to be an immune related condition. The cause of MS unfortunately less understood: most neuroscientist feel that the immune system ("body police") attack the brain. This is reflected in the highly efficacious MS therapy available such as interferons, cop axone and tysabri (natalizumab).

NO: Ms is auto-immune (similar to lupus). I know of no research suggesting a link between head injury and later developing ms.

Unlikely: The american academy of neurology finds little evidence that closed head trauma can affect multiple sclerosis in any fashion. However, some isolated cases of open skull injuries, and intracranial hemorrhages may well have worsened the pre-existing disease state. This is usually an additive problem.
