A member asked:

Is it possible for an esophageal to revert after a procedure is done?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probable: If you are talking about the esophagus reverting to normal after a fundoplication then the answer is yes. The esophagitis will heal. If you are talking about barrett's esophagitis it will also heal and the progression wil slow. One will still need serial checkups to assess the health of the esophagus.
