It could: There is a lot of evidence that omega-3's, in the proper dose, of course, can help with learning problems. But rather than solving the problem, supplements are more a part of an overall solution combined at least with diet and exercise.

Maybe not: There have been no studies which prove omega 3 is actually of much benefit. In fact, a very recent study suggested there is no real benefit of taking omega 3. Therefore, it maybe won't help a child with learning disabilities. The best thing is to have tutoring to help with remediation for learning disorders. Good luck.
